We are little cattery in
South-West Finland place named Riihikoski, it belong place named Pöytyä. Our first cat moved to us on year 2001 when we did buy our first flat (in rental flat we didn't have permit to animals), it was domesticcat female named Liinu who is unfortunately past away. Couple years later on year 2003 we did take friend to Liinu, and Yade our little red boy moved to us. First oriental did came to us on little by accident. We did have been look other breed, mostly Maine Coon, but in one introductionshow where we was with our Yade, next to us was two 'common coloured' oriental boys. And then other of them was given on Erkko's lap and then it was on there and our heart was stole by orientals. I have been liked siamese on long time, but Erkko hasn't like so much and have been not knowing about this breed. So on spring 2005 after our repairs in our new house our first oriental moved to us. Kaapo (FlyAway Def Leppard) that commoncoloured, did stole our hearts totally and later we notice that his colour, lilac, isnt so common that we thought first. We didn't plan breeding then,
but it did start to come on mind little bit when time did go. And on
February 2006 did born three kittens of Kaapos and Vincas not so love
affair, all bicolourbabies and then next June we did have our second
oriental familymember Elli (FlyAway Funky Fredrika). Little bit before that Elli moved to us, my catteryname Ice-Olive's was accept in Fife 18.5.2006. Behind of name isn't any storys. Our first litter did born on
April 2007 and second December 2007. Both litter was dam by Elli. We mostly breed oriental shorthairs and in future maybe also siameses. Mainly colours are ebony, havanna and lilac- and patterns. Mostly our breeding cats are bicolours. My aim is breed healthy, good personality, lively, humanitarian and breedstandart orientals. Look is also important, but I want that my kittens who move to new homes are humanitarian with good personality and brave little cats. And after kittens are moved I want to be in contact with new owner time to time and try help in problems best I can. All our breeding cats are FIV/FELV and Microsporum canis negative. And I also ask females who come to visit our studs those tests taken. Our cats are like familymembers and they live with us in same spaces. Kittens get use to other cats and humans in early age. We don't accept cagebreeding, so if you do that don't bother to ask kitten from me. Our cats don't run out them selfs, they only go with harness or in outdoor place. I hope you enjoy visiting on my website and please leave message on my guestbook before leaving! -Minna-
